Second to UF on my list of universities I want to go when I graduate is Cornell and UPENN. When I entered high school I took my classes seriously, but I never understood Biology or Algebra II. On my transcript I ended up with a C/B in Algebra II Honors and C/C in Biology Honors. I regret doing this poorly in these classes, but all my other credentials seem pretty good. I'm scoring consistent 220's in my PSAT practice booklets so I should be on track for making NMF next year. Besides those grades and few other B's I have straight A's this year and can plan on it next year. I'll be graduating with a total of about 11 AP's depending on how many I take my senior year. (AP World History,Physics1+2,Statistics,Human Geography,Psychology,U.S. History,Calculus BC,Physics C,Government,English Lit, and possibly Comp.Politics).I am dual enrolling english comp and calculus 1. Ending my Junior year my UW gpa will be a 3.85 and my W gpa will be a 4.6 on a 5.0 scale. I'm in the top ten percent of my class, and my EC's are decent(Founder and President of my schools American Red Cross Organization, historian for my band, marching band, key club, math, english, and history honor society as well as nation honor society, psychology club, and research commitee). I am a URM and thinking of applying ED to either one but I want to put it on the shocol I have the best shot of getting into. It may be early for this but I would like to know if those C's kill my shot.

They probably killed your shot. To have a shot, you are going to need excellent standardized test scores.

bump

bump

I do not think that it has killed your shot, but it does reduce it some. Your GPA is still respectable and you will have a good shot at a strong SAT given your PSAT. The Average SAT for Penn is 2200 and is just a little lower at Cornell. If you work hard, you should still have a solid chance.
