Sophmore what to do??

Hey guys I need some help.

Im in 10th grade and I dont know wheather to take physics next year or anatomy. I've heard from friends that physics is recommended by U.V.A, but then again I am interested in the medical fields and want to be exposed to organs and stuff.

I also want to know if I could get into U.V.A?In your opinion. My gpa is like 4.02 and I currently have 4 solid A's and an A in an AP class(ap euro) I think i have like a very low A in Pre ap english which is a 4.5. I got a 153 on psat(I suck at tests lol) and I am going to take precalc this summer which is at a community college. In 11th grade im gonna take Ap english, Ap history,AP calc, Latin 1 or spanish 4 i dunno what you guys think, and journalism 1. Oh yea I also volunteer.

Please help. Thanks

If you're instate and you want to get into UVA, do the following:

Take as many APs as possible. Finish in the top 10% of your high school class. Get involved in sports, clubs and other activities that you enjoy. Score in the 2000 range on the SAT.

oh yea do they like you more if your sibling goes there?
and should i go to those confrences for medicine and stuff or are those just a waste of money.
Oh yea my schools doing this cool thing where they send a few students to a community college to go to for junior and senior year. all classes are wieghted!!!!! Then again i heard Uva doesnt like people to take dual enrollment courses and this program is basically 5-6 dual enrollment courses.

sorry for this randomness

thanks cavalier did you get in?
I was in key club last year and spanish club. im not in any clubs currently.
I do cross country, indoor and outdoor track. I also am thinking about becoming like a secratary or somthing for the school next year.

yea im instate.

I don't think they care much if your siblings attend or attended UVA. It's nice and all, but there are other things that are much, much more important.

The conferences and camps on various topics are interesting ways to spend your time, but they're also costly and don't necessarily add anything to your application, since anyone with money can do them.

You should choose coursework that is challenging and interesting. The "I heard UVA doesn't like XYZ" stuff is frequently BS. Dual enrollment courses worked out well for several people I knew in HS and know now in college. Whatever you do, make sure that the coursework is challenging for you and is at or above the level of what previous UVA admits from your school completed.

edit: I'm currently a second year.

yea thanks man i know this one girl who took all advance classes and even took ap us history in 10th grade, and so in 11th she took anatomy and physics so UVA may like you to take both.
Im takin physics next year and over summer next year maybe take anatomy.
everything im taking is the most advance my school offers.
thanks anyone
