So is this taking in too much for fall 2010 (start of soph year) ? Chem E is the hardest major at my school.

Do you absolutely have to take chemE 10 right now? Is is a pre-requisites for some other courses in the spring?
If you remove the labs, it isn’t bad. Just 5 courses. I usually take 5 courses too.

jwxie : I have to take chemE 10 cause its a prereq. Its a mathematica based class.

ken285 : I can take math 5B in the winter but i want to finish the entire math series plus take a math proof class (math 8-- not required but seems interesting) so i have to take 5B right now.

Tyjay516, course coverage varies from school to school. MIT has Physics 1, 2, 3. In our school we only have two semesters of physics.
Usually 3 semesters of physics means more topics to be covered.

I suppose your workload isn’t as bad as it seems like.
math 5B is not bad at all. It’s vector calculus. I looked through the math department in your school, you will have to take it anyway, and plus 5C, of course.

Just make sure you have good time management this semester. Lab kills time.
