Sophomore-- advice?

Hi everyone. I'm a sophomore right now at an average public high school (~1200 kids) in NJ and was wondering what I could do to improve my chances for top schools (Princeton, Swarthmore, or Georgetown mainly)? I know that it is pretty early to begin seriously thinking about college, but I would like a few suggestions on how to improve wherever possible. I feel like my activities seem very generic (somewhat true), and I don't really stand out anywhere for the TOP schools (unfortunately, entirely true).

Well my interests lie around politics, the environment, and english. I applied to be a congressional or senate page for the summer, although have yet to hear back. Suggestions? Constructive criticism? any and all comments are appreciated! thanks

Continue what you’re doing.
You’re one of those idiots who cry on this forum when they have next to best stats >=O

thanks for the response… however, by cc standards a 98 weighted (96ish unweighted probably) isn’t too great at an average public high school when you’re looking at ivies, and a 209 isn’t THAT spectacular. To specify, I am wondering if anyone has recommendations as to what I can do with my ECs? I feel like they’re very sporadic.
