sophomore PSAT percentiles

<p>I have a question about sophomore PSAT percentiles. My son's score report gave percentiles compared to other sophomore test takers. But since few sophomores take the exam compared to the numbers who take it as juniors how reliable are those percentiles in predicting junior PSAT percentiles? Would you expect a math score in the 81st percentile for sophomores to change in either direction because the population of PSAT takers as juniors is so much larger? Thanks for your input.</p>
