Sophomore Schedule Rigor

Hi, is my schedule for sophomore year too rigorous or perfect?

Drawing & Composition 1 & 2

Honors British Literature

Honors Precalculus

Honors Orchestra

Honors Spanish 3

Honors Modern World History

AP Economics

(I would be taking Chemistry over the summer)

Thanks for the advice in advance!

Looks good! I don’t know you personally, but I think if you work hard and stay focused, you will succeed. Good luck!

It looks good to me but it really depends on the individual.

Whoa, for high school this is really great. An AP in sophomore year woohoo! I’d advise you, though, to maybe self-study Chemistry in advance or just try to get the basics before actually taking it in the summer, because in summer classes they move pretty quickly through the material. And from personal experience I’ve found that sometimes Chemistry can get pretty ugly in terms of calculations and things like that - so you might want to get a head start before summer, since summer classes will count as part of your grade. Anyway, I wish the best for you in high school, and I hope you have a great year! :)

Thanks everyone!

@SciAddict: Great idea! I’ll make sure to learn the basics before taking the summer course, because I’ve heard it’s a pretty challenging and stressful course.
