Sophomore Status?

As sophomore year draws to a close, and i enter the craziness of college counseling, i would just like some honest opinions on my current status and any advice as to where i should go.

Objective:
PSAT: 218
SAT 2's: Bio M (800)
GPA: 3.8 UW (School does not have APs, but i do have the maximum number of honors classes possible)
Rank: School doesn't rank, top 5% probably
Schedule: Most rigorous possible
Awards: 3 Regional from Model UN, National Qualifier for Congress Debate
APs: None yet

Subjective
EC's: Student Government (4 hrs/week) , President of Model UN (just got elected!) (8 hrs/week) , Congress Debate (4 hrs/ week) , Squash Team (10 hrs/ week), Volunteer Tutor (2 hrs/ week), School Newspaper (2 hrs/ week)
Job/Work Experience: Summer internship at Museum, 130 hours of volunteer work otherwise
Summer: Internship, Service/Language Trip, Middle East Conflict Camp (competitive application)

Other:
State: MD
Race: White
Gender: M
Hooks (dont know if necessary, but just in case): Legacies at Penn, Harvard, and Yale (sister)

Im just looking for where i should aim eventually and whether im truly on the path to a competitive 4 year university! Does my passion show through (see if you can tell what it is!)

Thanks in advance!

Also, when i say “where i should go” i mean, “where i should go from here”, not “where should i go to college”

Strong EC’s, strong GPA, your SAT scores will most likely be very good, high class rank… I’d say if you have a stellar junior year, and a great Essay you would be a good candidate for a few Ivies, depending on your major.

Thanks so much! Any more input?

Just remember to keep up the grades, EC’s and all the other stuff. I’m sure you will do great on the SAT’s. From your info above, i’d say you could have some ivies as reaches and maybe go the route of just below these prestigious schools through Tufts or UChicago. Good luck fellow sophomore!

Thanks! All opinions are appreciated!
