Hey Guys!
I'll try to keep this short! I'm a freshman at a public NC school (not UNC-CH) and I'm applying as a sophomore transfer applicant to UNC, NC State and William and Mary. I applied to W&M and UNC last year and got rejected. In-state for UNC and NCSU. I'm thinking about majoring in business.

ANY comments, advice, etc would be GREATLY appreciated, along with any other school suggestions you may have! W&M is my top choice (and I think I wrote a pretty good essay)

Did you apply from high school when you got rejected from W&M, UNC chapel hill?, and NC state.
You definitely now have a decent chance of getting into NC state. Are you applying for 2011 fall admission? A bit tough for W&M and Chapel Hill

I am surprised that you did not get into North Carolina State. My friend who is in community college got accepted as an out of state transfer with 60+ credits and a 2.8-2.9 GPA.

yes i applied to UNC and W&M as a senior in high school and was rejected from both. i did NOT apply to NC State as a senior in high school…this will be my first time (it’s more of a safety school in case I don’t get into UNC or W&M). Yes, this is for fall 2011.

Oh, and I’ll chance back if you post a link!

So my highschool gpa was pretty low it was 2.5. However i want to transfer into unc chapel hill as a transfer. I am in nc. I attend wake tech community college. I currently have 18 credits with a 4.0 gpa. I took some 200 level classes also, i am in my english 200 class american literature. I will have 28 credits by the end of spring then i will take pre calc over the summer. so i will have more than thirty credits. I am also in the phi theta kappa honors society. I am taking the SATS soon. what are my chances?
