Well I've been in school for 2 days now, and I'm liking it. :)
I've already noticed the difference between AP classes and regular classes.

Here is my schedule:
Per 1. French 2
Per 2. AP English Literature
Per 3. AP World History
Per 4. Chemistry
Per 5. Lunch
Per 6. Studio in Art
Per 7ACD. Physical Education
Per 7B. Study Hall
Per 7EF. Lab
Per 8. Advanced Algebra

How are the classes I'm taking?
Is anyone else taking similar classes?
just curious to know ^_^

I would be in French 3 but was failing French 2 my freshman year (not my fault, I came from a different school with a less rigorous curriculum and this school runs from grade 5-12).
Would this pose a problem for me going full IB?

i don't like the concept of sophomore year:

freshman year: you are in highschool for the first time. exciting!

junior year: you are going to be a senior next year! and you're an upperclassman! you've got some respect from the freshies. being on top for once. you know all the nooks and crannies to your school.
senior year: you're a senior! last year and your OUTTA there. off to college soon!

sophomore year: you're not excited about going to highschool, because you've been there done that. you're still an underclassman - not up there yet. freshmen don't "ooooo and awwww" at you and juniors and seniors don't really care about you. you have twooooo moreeeee years until you get to go to college. long wait. nothing much to look forward to.

that's just my perspective. at the school i go to now, theres not much grade division for the social aspect, so some of the above doesn't apply, but still, not that awesome of a year.

y'all may have some other opinions on this matter though.

blackwhitesilver--OH MY GOD that was my exact theory on sophmore year. Sophomores get no love, seriously. D: Of course I had a great year anyway due to my awesome new friends. But whatever, yay for being a junior.

OP: why are you already in AP English as a sophmore? What are you going to take next year and the year after that? o.O;;

I should say, being a sophomore at the end of sophomore year, at least in my school, is fun. No AP's until next year, no unknowns like in freshman year...
