Sophomore Year really screwed me over?

So, Freshman Year, I had around a 3.8 unweighted GPA, but Sophomore Year, thanks to really, really low Algebra II Honors grades (which left me with a 72 for the year) my GPA went down to a 3.57

I'm currently a Junior, and first quarter, I got all A's and A+'s, including in my 3 AP courses - but sadly, that only brought my 3.57 to a 3.62 (I had a 4.1 for that quarter alone, though.) If I keep up my current pace, I should have around a 3.7 by the end of Junior Year, and probably a 3.75 by the time College Apps are due -- my question is, my transcript right now is full of A's, A+'s, maybe one or two B+'s, and my C- in Math, Sophomore year. Is it going to be a SERIOUS detriment when it coms to me applying to schools? (Like Temple, BU, etc.)?

(Oh, I forgot to add, my class rank is 30/447 or about 7%, if that means anything?)

Your grades are already high enough for Temple, as for BU it should be a match. Calm down, you are fine for the schools you are interested in.

Agree with Artsy (I’ve been agreeing with you a lot the past few days). Don’t stress yourself too much. And even if you don’t get into Temple or BU don’t worry, there are plenty of other colleges you can get into that are just as good

More opinions, yes, is very nice — bump.

I think you’ll be fine–colleges can see your entire transcript as well as the GPA so they will see that you have mostly A’s with some B’s and one C.
Temple and BU should be within your reach :D
