I love NYC. But I can't stand the snooty "Big time Noo Yoakah guys" who look down on West Coast guys like me. I mean we're both American, what's the big deal?

UPenn Wharton - dream school!!!

Northwestern

Brown

Dartmouth

Or any of the top LAC's would be fine really...but these tow are by far my top choices!

If you're refering to my post, it's really nothing like that. I mostly want to go to school for design, and the opportunities on the West Coast just aren't as good.

JOHNS HOPKINS!!!

St. Andrew's
Notre Dame
Boston College

Princeton
University of Pittsburgh
Boston University
Cooper Union
Franklin Olin College of Engineering

My top 2:
University of Chicago
Reed College

Maybe I'll apply to Williams just in case they accidently accept me.

In order from most wanted to least wanted:

I'm pretty much already in 9 and 10 already, so they'll be acting as safeties. I have legacy at NYU and I get in sans tuition because my mother worked at the hospital for 20-some odd years. We also have a family friend who is a recruiter at Manhattan, and he could get me accepted in a minute. Unfortunately, I really don't want to go to either of these schools, but I guess they're nice to have on the list.

princeton. harvard. stanford. duke. john hopkins. upenn. cornell.

Top schools: Columbia, University of St. Andrews, London School of Economics and Political Science

Other schools I'd still really like: JHU, Georgetown, Tufts, U Chicago, Stanford, UC Berkeley, Brown

I have matches/safeties too, but my favourites are all reaches/possibly a high match. And I still need to narrow my list down.

unc, duke, hyps, rice, stanford, jhu, uva, mit. :D

Columbia

Yale

Harvard

... i'm planning on getting into yale, but i don't know about the other two :(

Dartmouth

Brown

Tufts

Colgate/Bowdoin

Bucknell

eating food: "i'm planning on getting into yale" -- how are you planning that? Do your parents donate millions of dollars or what?

I used to be completely dead-set on the University of Pennsylvania, but now it's:

UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO! (applying Early Action)

University of Pennsylvania

Johns Hopkins University

Syracuse University

And maybe SUNY Cortland, SUNY Geneseo, American University, and the University of Sussex.

Northwestern ED!!!!!

Pretty much the perfect school for me as far as I'm concerned.

haha jojodevka.

well, they don't donate millions... actually nothing at all.

but i'm double legacy on both sides and i'm black and I plan on applying EA. I guess I'm also pretty adept academically?

sorry, didn't mean to brag. Like i don't know if I have a chance at columbia or harvard or any other college for that matter. Yale, on the other hand, is a bit of a different story.

For me:
