sororities!

anyone here in one? can you give me more information onn the sororitie in UW pelase=]

I don't know about you, but I got a pamplet yesterday in the mail about the Greek Life at the UW. They even offer a program where you can stay overnight to see if it's really for you.

My son has already interviewed with the Figi's... he received a call from them in Feb and will be attending the Greek Life weekend too.

The UW is his safety school, but once he met the group from Figi, he changed his perspective about the UW from "it's ok" to "I would enjoy it".

He has a high ranking and GPA, both IB and Running Start student, so I'm sure that any frat would want him.. they compete to keep their GPA's in the top ten. My mother-in-law is a chair person for Phi Mu at the UW. They don't have an active chapter, but still own their house. She has so many great friends from her chapter that she is still close with today.

I suggest that you go to the weekend and check it out. If you like the people, then consider it.

Daughter is a freshman at UW. She went up early and rushed and is in a sorority. Rush was difficult (just weird) but she pledged and LOVES her sorority and sorority life. I strongly recommend checking it out during Greek Weekend. It'll give you a little taste of sorority life.

the one thing i don't like about the UW greek system is that you HAVE to live in it once you pledge

i would pledging right away but still staying in a dorm for a year, like at wsu or arizona
