What are the reputations these days of the different sororities? Wondering specifically about Kappa, Theta, Alpha Phi, DG and AChiO.

Personally I think the sorority rush process isn't all that different from what it's ultimately like when you go on job interviews. Same difference ... people meet you and score you and you mutually decide whether you're a good fit.

Kappa: rich **es, for the most part. Think desperate housewives rewound to their college days. generally the 'hottest'
Theta: closest NU has to a 'typical' sorority. Generally extremely pretty (at least for NU), also rich, less **y than kappa with some exceptions. most of the thetas I know are sweethearts.
Alpha Phi: lots of theater girls, generally fun girls in general. Has a problem with slightly dirty rushing and leaves more girls crushed than probably any other house despite not being kappa/theta/tridelt.
DG: known for having a lot of jewish girls. some are pretty cool but others are hugely obnoxious. they party a lot.
AChiO: the 'smart one', i think it has the highest gpa? it has a pretty big range; a lot of girls are pretty and fun and chill, but they also have some really awkward girls ... but from what i can tell the first group seems to be running the show lately.

I see no reason to hide it: I'm a new member in Alpha Chi (aka AChiO - not to be mistaken with ChiO), and based on what I have seen from spending a considerable amount of time with these girls, Alpha Chi is a very diverse group of down-to-earth, extremely witty and funny people. They don't fit the stereotypical image of sorority girls, but they definitely know how to have a good time.

Though I have my opinions about some of the other sororities, it really wouldn't be fair to share them because they don't carry much weight.
