alright thanks!
soooo pretty much sororities=connections right?

So…for those who have been at orientation, is there any interaction between sorority members at orientation and those who will be potential new members?

Curlytoons,

Yes there is and can be. My d spent two or three nights going to greek get togethers when she was at Orientation. She reached out to a couple of sororities during roundup. They invited her to some events during Orientation.

They were not at the house. I think they were at bars, and apartments. I do not know if the houses are open during the summer. He house is not.

Have Fun,

The sororities have a sorority rule not to do summer rushing, but there are fraternity parties all summer long.

They have informal get-to-togethers and dinners I thought?

Yes they were informal get together’s

The rules were supposed to change this year and they were told NOT to contact any PNM’s during orientation. The PNM’s also received an e-mail stating that attending any informal get togethers with any sorority could jepordize thier (the pnm’s) recruitment. I will say that D heard that a few of the houses are being repremanded for such practices this week.
