What are the reputations of the sororities at you school?
(please list school and each sorority+ a description)

...and i know i'm going to get a lot of crap for "listening to opinions" and the only way to know a sorority is to "experience it for yourself and find the fit for YOU" but i don't care i just want answers to my questions.

greek ain't for cool kids..

so 20 people looked at this but none replied? COME ON!

What are you expecting to find out? Every greek organization is different at every school. Alpha Omega may be the student government type at X University, but the outdoor type at Y College. If you've got questions about the organizations at a specific college, then you'd do better to ask current students.

that's the point....you list college and sorority...so it will be different.

Well, let's see. There are 26 NPC sororities. Each has over 100 chapters nationwide, but let's just say there are 100. You're asking for 26,000 reviews? And that's not counting NPHC sororities, multiethnic sororities, local sororities, etc. And then add fraternities to the mix.

I don't think this is the correct site for you. Try greekchat.com

Greekchat won't touch a thread like this.

To the OP: even if you get people to respond about their school, their assessment is going to be severely biased by the interactions they've had with each chapter.

For example, there's a chapter (let's call them XYZ) on my campus that I really don't like. I think the girls are stupid, slutty and alcoholics. Every time my chapter ever had a party with them they bragged and bragged about how good they were at drinking, and would promptly leave if the beer ran out, even if more was on the way. Whenever my chapter did serenades, they were the only sorority in which fewer than 35 girls would come and listen (and most other chapters had way more than that gather). At XYZ it was usually like 10 girls that would come down from their rooms.

All that said, I have a good friend who was in a different fraternity on my campus, and he loves the XYZ's. He dated a couple of them, and has been to about 8 different weddings of XYZ's, and they are the group of girls he always ended up going to the bars with.

And of course the situation is reversed with the ABC's whom I adore for being hot, smart, and fun...he thinks they're snobs and teases.

So if that's the case, how is this going to be at all meaningful, especially at schools you probably have no intentions whatsoever of going to?

Tri-Delt tends to be good everywhere
