I really want to rush and eventually pledge in the fall, but I am kind of worried about not getting a bid. Is it hard to get a bid at UW? I'm from Texas, and I know that down here, rushing is super super intense and cut throat and it's pretty difficult to get a bid unless you're a legacy or have connections. Is it like that at UW? Please fill me in on everything about sororities at UW!

there is another thread about greek life i replied to as well so check that out because a couple other people have talked about it...i know a lot about it because grandparents/aunts/uncles/cousins/parents were all in uw greek system...there are 16 sororities and each house usually issues about 20-25 bids so it just depends on how many rush that given year. greek life is hugee at uw though for sure. check out their website though, you can look at procedures and all the different house profiles to see more about them and such
