Sorry But chances for Boston Universiy

I am only a current junior in high school, but i love BU from what i have seen and read about it, and i am definitely interested in going there in the fall or 2011.

Stats:
GPA- around a 3.55 UW
School doesn’t weight grades, but i think i am around a 3.8 weighted?
Top 20 percent at least, don’t know the exact percent, the school doesn’t tell us until graduation
SATS- taking for the first time in May with subject tests
ACTS- Taking soon too.

EC’s
3 years tennis, 2 years varsity, next year possible captain
3 Years leadership class
Next year senior class president maybe
Over 100 hours community service, will probably get at least 50 more before i apply
2 years national honor society ( possibly president next year)
Summer job this summer
Next year editor for the school news paper
Job for the local paper

Other: From the west Coast
Hopefully going to do the summer challenge or summer honors program at BU this year.

Applying to COM for journalism i think, maybe advertising, not sure yet

Can anyone please chance me, thanks! Also do you think there would be any chance i could get scholarships or grants? My family isn’t poor but we cannot afford to play over 50 thousand a year, and also my sister is in college right now too. Is there anything else that would help me get accepted to Boston University, i am also debating applying ED or not? Advice?

Bumppppppppppppp

You will most likely get in with a 1900+ SAT score and 600+ SAT subjects test scores, but I highly doubt that with a 3.55 unweighted GPA you could get any merit scholarship money.

anyone else? Bump Bump Bump

And thanks motion for you reply! Will it help that i will graduating with 4 or 5 AP classes, 1 honors class, and 2 college classes at the local college?

anyone else. bumppppppp
i can chance you back, i just don’t know if it will be helpful

bumppppppp
