So speaks the person who posted a survey about autism (and who presumably has done research on it)

Oh lord yes, sometimes it can be even more intense when people know that there is no feeling behind it.

Okay, hopefully, you're not sarcastic here

^I definitely don't think that's sarcastic...
it's more fun to flirt when you don't have to worry about it being taken seriously.

yeah I guess it depends on the type of behavior it is (and on say, how intense it is - or if someone just uses it as a way to respond to particular prompts). sometimes it's just what someone normally does. sometimes there are hidden meanings behind platonic friendships.

WOW!

This is the first time I have ever looked at the "High School Life" forum and this is the first thread that I looked at. This is remarkable! I vote this thread greatest invention of the 21st century.

People say I flirt and I don't even mean to :(:(

I don't know what flirting is either.....

Nah, not sarcastic at all. Flirting is a lot of fun when you aren't worried about being taken seriously.

^Yeah, my best guy friend and I have so much fun exchanging sexual remarks with each other =P

Flirting can't really be taught or learned... it's just a subtle (or not so subtle, in some cases, haha) aspect to relationships.

Ok, so apparently "touching ones" hair counts as flirting?! My mom was reading this thread over my shoulder, and she told me that I constantly run my fingers through my hair when I am around people that I go to school with. I never even noticed this!

Note to guys: Just because a girl is touching her hair doesn't mean that she is flirting with you...lol.

touching the persons hair you're talking to...

Oh ok...thanks...gosh, I feel really stupid now...

Ah its ok, we should do a mock flirt on here so people can get a grasp of it. Here I'll start..

Me: YOUR HAWT

Girl: "Oh...(giggle, giggle) Why, thank you. You're not too bad lookin' yourself. (Wink, Wink)

just think of the people typing this. you have no idea who they are. it's to catch a predator part II

^^ It was meant to be a joke...

I'm not sure what "asexual" means...but they are not supposed to discriminate against things like that in admissions, and they probably wouldn't even know about the whole asexual thing unless you were to put it on your applications, essays.

^"Girl: "Oh...(giggle, giggle) Why, thank you. You're not too bad lookin' yourself. (Wink, Wink)"

Me: not TOO BAD??? :( This conversation is over!
