SOS merit aid for transfers?

SO. I transferred from a top-ranked private school in Louisiana to my home state’s flagship school. I really really really hate my state school, however, becasue it feels like being at home and 80% of the people I know go here. I’m now trying to transfer AGAIN, but the merit aid pool seems to be INCREDIBLY small for non-community college transfer students.

Does anybody know schools that offer their merit aid to transfers? I’m willing to pay as much as I was for my original school, which was about $35,000 total after my $20,000 merit aid scholarship.

Here’s a list of schools I like and would love to go to:
Boston University
Northwestern
Occidental College (as far as I can tell they consider transfers for their merit aid)
American University
UC Boulder
Any other options? (Looking for good journalism/communications schools near/in cities)

My Stats:
a knack for writing kick-ass essays
32 ACT
7 AP courses with 5s on all
3.72 GPA at competitive private high school, awards from debate, soccer state champion, german club, etc
3.54 GPA for college, a few ECs, social justice committee, study abroad at oxford in London

I assume you attended Tulane. Why did you leave? Can you return?

Your GPA isn’t stellar for transfer scholarship consideration, and at this point, they won’t be considering your ACT.

Schools like Loyola of Chicago and Saint Louis University offer sizable transfer merit scholarships for those who aren’t from community colleges. You may also want to look into state universities even as an out-of-state student, if you can afford up to 35K/year.
