SOS PLEASE HELP: Hi; I applied to ucla. i applied chemistry but then I decided I wanted to change my major. i wanted to change my major to Undeclared-physical sciences. But i messed up–i was rushing i was stressed and i accidently said i wanted to declare it to undeclared-humanities instead. now whatt? does anyone have ANY HELP OR SUGGESTIONS? i want to email them back and say wait actually undeclared-physical sciences but doesn’t that look bad? help sos tysmmmmm. additionally, is it better to say undeclared humanities or undeclared physical sciences? is one easier to get in w?
If you are applying to UCLA directly from high school (not a transfer student) then your intended major is not relevant to admissions. They won’t hold you to it as they know most students change majors during their first two years. Only the specific college to which you are applying is considered. The majors you mentioned in your post all reside in the College of Letters and Sciences, which is also the college with the highest admissions rate. You don’t need to do anything! You are A-OK!
