Spanish 4 AP or Physics C?

Hi Folks,

I saw that Stanford says that to be most competitive one should have four years of a foreign language. I want to major in Computer Science. I have taken ap chem, ap bio, and ap physics 1 but I only have one spot on my schedule and I am going to have to choose between Spanish 4 and Physics C. Can anyone give me some advice or thoughts on this? Any stanford admits or parents have any opinions on which class would look better?

Whichever class you enjoy more, which sounds like physics. You’re a com sci major - they’re not going to reject you because you didn’t take AP Spanish over AP Physics, the latter of which is more applicable to your field of study.
