Spanish for business?

Is Spanish a good language to become fluent in for business, especially international types? I've already been taking it for 6 years and I'm pretty good at it so fluency shouldn't be too far away, but is that a good language for Business? It seems to me that Spain is the only country that would have much to do with International Business.

Also, is studying abroad in Spain a good idea?

“Spain is the only country that would have much to do with International Business”

How sure are you about that?

Um… not at all. I just kinda don’t see the southern Spanish-speaking countries as having much dealings with other countries. And Spain is nice?

Why wouldn’t Latin American countries deal with international business as well? Btw I’m also wondering how useful Spanish will be in business related fields.

I just feel like I should be working on German or Japanese or CHINESE especially.

I thought you said you were quite proficient in Spanish…? If you’re great at Spanish, let it be your niche or at least make something out of your investment. Actually, though Spanish is a very popular language, you should think ahead to where you want to work in the future. It probably won’t help you much to be fluent in Spanish when you’re working in Russia or Dubai :)

Latin America as a whole is a much bigger market than Spain.
