Spanish III

I am about to be a senior this year, and I wasn’t sure if I should take Spanish III. I am only required to take two years, but I’m not sure if it would be helpful for college admissions.
I already signed up for my courses this upcoming year, and I like what I have, so I was wondering if I need to take it, would it be fine to take it online?
These are the courses I have for my senior year if it helps at all.
AP Macro/Micro
AP Literature
AP Psych
AP Stat
Chorus (Vocal Ensemble, Honors)
Theatre 4 Honors
Internship (for Theatre 1 students)
Thank you so much in advance!

I would re-consider. It honestly depends on the college you are interested in, it wouldnt be bad to take it, as it shows you are advancing your skills in a foreign language.

I agree with @writer80; it just depends on the colleges you are shooting for. Top schools do recommend 2-4 years of foreign language, but if you aren’t looking at schools of high caliber then it might be worthwhile to take a class that contributes to your field of study. It certainly does not look bad on a transcript, though.

 @pinklinks

I have a bias towards language, as I think language skills are really important. However, to each their own  I would suggest taking it in school, not online, as some colleges don’t really look favorably on online classes (from what I have heard). But ultimately, make the choice that will benefit you the most.

@yonceonhismouth Colleges don’t care if you take a class online or not, as long as you are successful in it and know the material.

I think most colleges would like to see at least three years of a language. I’d drop either AP Macro/Micro or AP Psych.
