Which universities are strong in these majors?

anybody have some advice?

I'm not exactly sure, but I think Columbia and Georgetown are great in these areas.

Yeah, most likely SFS at Georgetown.

University of California at San Diego (UCSD) has an excellent Latin American studies department.

Awesome... does anyone also know anything about Stanford, UC Berkeley, UCLA, or Middlebury?

any more opinions??

As I'm sure you know, Middlebury has an excellent Spanish program, and, although not an official major, you can create a major in Latin American Studies (as many have done in the past). Midd also has excellent study abroad programs.

Here are a few:

Brown University
Cornell University
Duke University
Harvard University
Indiana University-Bloomington (much better than you'd expect)
Princeton University
University of California-Berkeley
University of California-Los Angeles
University of California-San Diego
University of Michigan-Ann Arbor
University of Pennsylvania
University of Texas-Austin (arguably #1)
University of Wisconsin-Madison (also much better than you'd expect)
Yale University (second only to UT-Austin)

thanks alexandre for the list

anymore help would be appreciated!! :)

anybody?? :S

wow, Cornell is always coming up in these lists, must be a strong university lol :), obviously.
