Spanish Listening

How hard is the actually listening portion?

im pretty good at spanish, i got a 5 on the aP language sophomore year, and i was in the literature class when i took the spanish with listening SAT2 during the fall of my junior year, i ended up with a 790. my multiple choice section was great--that part was really easy. but the listening was a little harder (tougher than the AP language) and i got like a 72 subscore, which is what kept me from getting an 800.
i recommend waiting till youre really good at spanish...i know several people with 5s on the AP who got SAT2 scores in the 600s.

So is it advisable to take it with Listening if I only went up to Spanish 3...and didn't take it last year and won't take it this year?

i have no idea how hard your spanish 3 class was so i can't say if it prepared you or not
if you're a native speaker, go right ahead, it will be really easy for you
if you haven't spoken spanish for a while i don't recommend it
if you don't feel prepared enough, don't take spanish with listening. take plain old spanish.
