Hi there to all, I had recently spoked with the admissions people at UPenn about this Spanish thing. I asked them if Spanish was required, and they told me NO. I am wondering whether to believe them, and not care about spanish, or should I make an attempt to do something about this. I will take spanish 1/2/3/4 in my senior year, so that would only be two years of spanish, should I worry at all?

I thankyou in advance…

What are you talking about?

"I am wondering whether to believe them"

Well the so called Admissions people know better than maybe any of us here. So let me question you,
why shouldn't you believe them?

in my high school, three years of foreign language is a requirement to graduate. I think you should satisfy your high school requirements so you'd actually make it to Penn.

Well, my highschool does not have a requirement for foreign language. I am just wondering whether the admissions officer would look down upon me, for not having taken more than two years. I do not entirly distrust them, more skeptical, since there will be other students who have taken more than two years of foriegn language.

oh well you know, just ...do it if you have the capacity...just so the colleges will see your effort.

I hate my schools' block scheduling, since I signed up for Spanish for 9th, 10th, 11th, and did not get. Now, my only chance of taking spanish would be in my senior year. Yes, spanish, since that is what my school only offers.
