<p>I think it depends on the subject. I thought that sparknotes for us history were pretty close in difficulty and subject matter to the real thing. I didn't find that particularly true for bio, so I thing it varies subject by subject. Which sat iis are you asking about?</p>

<p>IvyLeagueORbust: I'm not sure it would be completely fair for me to say that sparknotes are "lousy" for biology, but I didn't find the questions on the sparknotes tests to be anything like the questions I encountered on the sat ii in bio that I took in May</p>

<p>I got a 770. Also, if it makes a difference I took E, although I went in expecting to take M since that was the one I had been doing marginally better on in practice tests.</p>
