...special skills or talents?

"Indicate any special skills or talents that you possess."

there are 5 blank lines here; did anyone come close to indicating more than one or two 'skills or talents'?! this question is really throwing me off.

yeah, im wondering the same thing. what counts as a special talent? seems to overlap a bit with my activities

special skills could be lots of things, artist, dancer, actor, singer, musician, computer programmer, fluent in two or more languages, outstanding record of volunteer service, particularly if you've won awards for it, published writer,

i put down stuff thats listed above...and the fact that I can fling M&Ms from my ear...thats going to be my hook.

haha.

Since im applying to MSB should I put down alot of business related stuff? If you look at my application, its full of business stuff. From the essay, to the recs, all the way to the envelope its all related to business.

Thanks

well you cant really put down business special skills or talents...unless you have an uncanny eye in the stock market.

i mean if you want to do a loose definition of "special skills or talents" then possibly.

i'm guessing we can make sort of a bulleted list, or separate with semi-colons...? its such an awkward little thing! i want to put down how i'm can strike up conversations with anyone aged 2-105. does that count?

haha.

i was going to mention my pimp ass talent but its georgetown and they dont like to laugh

i'm guessing they want it to be a bit informal--i hope so, anyway. i put down stuff about my art talent, even talked about cooking, learning to play the guitar. pretty much anything i could think of (but i was still truthful.)

this question is so weird! i dunno what to write!

i took the liberty of calling georgetown to ask them WHAT on earth this question is supposed to mean. They said that
a.) bullets/separation by semicolons is fine.
b.) your talent can range from playing the tuba to having psychic powers (if you really do)
c.) they said i could cite "connecting with all people, old and young" and it would be acceptable

So really anything that separates you from others, I assume. GL yo

you're amazing, thanks for calling them!

yea, thanks for sharing with us.

oh yea, they said you could make add a page to explain anything you couldn't fit in. just don't make it too long

does speaking multiple languages count? even though there's already a section asking what languages you speak?

and anyone fill up all the lines for this question?

i'm not sure if i should write in sentence form or not!! aah

if you speak them fluently, yes...

i take french and latin in school, and my mom wanted me to put "i have a facility for languages" umm is that retarded? should i take that out? or phrase it differently? haha help please thanks

yea that sounds a little retarded. go for "i learn languages quickly"
