Hello all-
I was wondering if there are any tricks with the english problems that are like delete or not delete, should be kept or should not be kept, yes it proves this, no it does not prove this.

Hopefully you understnad my question. All help is grately appreciated.

Oh sorry, maybe you did not get the question. My bad. Basically, I am talking about the questions like "does this essay prove this" should you add this clause to the end of the sentance. Maybe this question is really stupid.

I would suggest thinking about the audience of the writing and the purpose while reading it.
If the Q says should this be included as a newspaper about Italy and it has a very informal tone and is only about someone's trip to Italy, then it wouldn't fit the criteria.

However, if you mean those M/C questions where choice E is OMIT the underlined portion, then you want to watch out for repetition, which is ALWAYS the reason for omitting an underlined portion
