We visited Towson today and my daughter really enjoyed the visit. Seems like a great fit all around.
We learned that the major she’s potentially interested in, Speech Pathology, is a screened major and that she’ll have to apply to entry into the program after freshman? year.
If she’s potentially set on that as a major, it’s a bit worrisome that she could go to Towson and then not be able to get into that program. Seems like a huge negative.
Does anyone have any experience with this? How competitive is it to get into their Speech Pathology program. Should she assume going in that she might not get into the program?
Any suggestions on who to talk about this further with to gain some clarity?
