just practice it a lot and recognize similarities and patterns with the questions if you can... really, it just takes some practice (and your science background in school can help too)

thanks a lot guys for the info. so as i understand it, there's no difference between "official" ACTs and PR/Kaplan ACTs?

obviously there is a difference. Official tests are always better and more accurate. But if you have no other choices, then you must take those other tests.

peytoncline, is the McGraw-Hill ACT book with the 10 practice tests pretty good? I'm not sure if I should get that for extra practice because I heard its waaaay easier than the real acts.

it's not waaaay easier... it is easier than the real things, yes.. and there are a couple of answer mistakes..... but it does use similar questions (although, they're easier, they still help you gain recognition of them for the real test)... they're aren't as good as kaplan or PR, but they do help a little bit

i'll re-word my question :P

are the Kaplan and PR tests as inaccurate as they are for the SAT?

Btw it's crazy to do more than like.. 5 practice tests, at the most.

^ that makes me feel so much better :)

no, PR and Kaplan are pretty good for the ACT

thnx, peyton
