I can't decide if I want to major in Psychology or in English. I love both subjects but I don't want to be overwhelmed. I love English a little more and want to be a writer more than a psychologist but I know it's a lot less practical. If I can major in English and minor in psychology that would be great but the job options after college seem less successful than if I majored in Psychology and minored in English.

I don’t know that much about double majors because I only just started planning for college. If I choose to double major could I still get a Ph.D in Psychology?

You could probably get into many grad schools for psychology even if you had just a minor in psych. Check out a few psych grad programs and see what they require.
