Splitting atoms?

<p>Sorry about this post, but I'm impatiently wading through hundreds of boards looking for one I read a few weeks ago without the luxury of a search feature.</p>

<p>Anyways, the board I am looking for was about a student (a guy, I think) that constructed something dealing with atomic particles. I don't remember exactly what it was-- accelerator, splitter, etc.</p>

<p>Does anyone have a link to the board I am talking about? I believe it was in this catergory, but it may have been in "What are my Chances?"</p>
