<p>Doesn’t every cadet get a sponsor family? I don’t know if my son has one yet. I will have to write and ask him. I know he wants one. It would disappointing if he doesn’t get a family to sponsor him.</p>

<p>Every cadet gets a sponsor family. The family they spend Doolie Day Out with may or may not be their "long-term" one. Your son or daughter won't know anything about who they are yet, though, until they're picked up on DDO.</p>
<p>I feel better. I look forward to meeting them during Parents Weekend, if possible.</p>
<p>Most sponsor families have more than one cadet, so you'll probably have an opportunity to meet your child's sponsor brothers and/or sisters too (who may or may not be in the same class).</p>
