I have been helping my nephew look at schools. In Sport Management, are you ranking schools on name or placement rate? Do the schools have research faculty or practical instructors? Are the classes small? Do the faculty have connections? Are they business related? - if not, are you going to get a job in the "business of sport" if you can't run a business.

We have been looking at lots of SM schools, including the ones above. We are tending to the small institutions, that have supportive business or law programs.

So, they all could be good - depending upon what you are lookig for. Do you want to be a researcher, coach, agent, marketer - each school is different.

If you are looking in New England, UMass is #1. Also look at Western New England, Nichols and Southern New Hampshire Univ.

Um... the only one of the schools you've listed that has a really good SM program is UMass. The rest are just average. UMass and Ohio U are the two schools with undergrads in SM that have GREAT programs.

Go to a school that has a large alumni base in the field so that you can get a job after graduation. Just because you have a degree that says Sport Management doesn't mean you'll get a job. It's all about who you know in the business and a school with a large alumni base = lots of jobs in the field.
