SPORTS anyone?

D2 just received a great note from the women's running coach. D2 is not a recruited athlete, just wants to walk on. Note was very welcoming, healthy summer training schedule + athletes move in a week early.

i want to play tennis...but the coach didn't tell me to move in early or anything...i guess tennis doesn't start as early? idk...i'll prolly not make the team anyway...i don't have an official usta ranking...i just play on my hs team (singles)...but great at doubles as well...i think i'll wait and train myself for the spring season...

UR is Division III in everything except squash. We're Division I squash, but thats because there is no D3 Squash Lol.

I heard our Division I Squash is awesome tho - they just had a smashing victory againt someone, dont remember...

nah, UR's volleyball team is Division II

Anyone else like badminton? It's my favorite sport, I'm definitely going to play at UR

Lol i love badmington, i plan on playing handball too.

yay for out-of-the-ordinary sports lol

there's badminton? awesomeness! i think i'm gonna be spending more time playing sports than studying...we'll see how that goes...badminton and table tennis are gonna rock...and tennis and volleyball too! did u guys get a chance to see the indian show over the weekend, i think called mela?

Yep! badminton is offered as a club sport, so we get to compete, but it is not a huge time commitment.
