I am currently a sports and recreation management major and was wondering what kind of chances i have of getting into med school? I would like to maybe do sports training or something and was wondering if I would be able to get into a med school and what schools would focus on the sports part?

Based on your age of 20 the assumption is that you will be an entering Junior this fall.

If you haven't looked into the requirements of Med school yet you are probably not going to be ready in the next year. Most schools have a medical profession advisory panel on campus that can give you the specific requirements. Again, unless you have already completed OrgChem 1 and 2, a year of Bio, a year of Physics, a year of Calc, a significant effort shown at medical related EC's and are sitting on a 3.7 GPA in all the above, you won't make it into the applicant pool when you graduate in 2 years.

Check into Post-Bac programs that can give you the requirements in 12-18 months of work between U/G and MedSchool.

There are no Med Schools that focus on sports medicine. You have to take and pass it all, even if you only want to be a Dermatologist.

You can begin focusing on sports type specialties in your residency after graduating med school.
