sports @ Muhlenberg?

i think this is my 3rd post in these forums out of 5 all together lol.

Anyways, does anyone know how hard it is to make the soccer/basketball team there? I played soccer for 4 years, and would have been on Varsity for 3 of them if i wasn't hurt. I started this season once my injury went away and i thought i did pretty well.

I have heard that playing D3 isn't too hard at most smaller LA schools, but i looked at Muhlenberg's soccer team and i saw that they were nationally ranked and one of the best in their conference. Does anyone know how hard it would be to play, or at least be on the soccer team there?

My dad met a guy whose son plays basketball there so i am going to give him a call. I Used to play competitively in 7th/8th grade leagues in 6th grade, but it took the fun out of the game so i stopped. I have regretted it ever since I didn't tryout my freshman year of high school, and would love to play in college. Any comments/suggestions would be great.

Thanks!

Sports can be more competitive in Muhlenberg (and other Eastern PA DIII schools) than one might expect. To compare yourself, check the roster and the player’s bios. Don’t expect to just walk-on, though that is always a possibility, connect with the coach, make a video etc… You need to do all of these things to really make it… even in DIII.

thanks for the response worldspirit… i’ll check out some of the bio’s, and try to contact the coach.
