Spotting Patterns on the SAT

Hello All,

I took yet another practice test yesterday, and it was an extremely difficult one at that my scores were the following: W:675 M:590 CR:580. My math and cr scores have stayed fairly stagnant since I first took the SAT, and I want to improve. My question is, how do you spot patterns, I know to do a lot of prac. tests, but I cannot seem to pinpoint the patterns in the qs. Can any of you give some helpful advice? Thank You

Well for me, I usually do the practice tests and do a careful review of the Maths questions I got wrong and ALL of my Cr and Writing questions

It’s a pain in the ass yes but after doing so, you definitely can pin-point certain types of questions that repeat themselves

But how can you spot patterns in CR questions? Like theres different storys and likewise different questions. I understand W but not CR and M

Knowing exactly what the SAT wants you to know on the math section helps you to recognize patterns and question types. As you review questions, figure out what concept they are testing and why they put specific information in the wording of the question.
