Reason to Transfer: I am planning to have surgery in Dec and my parents wanted me close to home. I feel that my academic needs will be met better at a large university where I can pursue my passions.

I can get a rec from the democratic candidate for governor for my state...Should I???

Though I think you might have a shot at both of those school it might hurt you if you have transfered twice already. Colleges frown on people transferring again and again and this will hurt your chance at admittance.

Well, the reason why I left the first school was to be closer to home. The second school is fine, but I want to major in neuroscience, which is available at pitt. I put this in an essay and sent it to them. Also, I went to CC to take classes because Drexel doesnt have liberal arts classes that Pitt needs for Gen Ed.

My first semester is the only thing holding me back I think,

Journalism major, looking to transfer in the spring with a 3.0 GPA and 90+ units from a California community college - a bunch of them are non-transfer journalism practicum, though (best two-year college paper in the US!)

kinda anxious about asking the prof. about the recs. but just walking around campus, i relaize that nearly all of them still remember me and talk to me even more than they did back when i was their student. :)

i chance myself at pretty good, right? lol. it's been hard NOT to fool around, or sleeep a little more when school responsibilities are calling. :P

i'm just paranoid bc first time around when i was in high school i didn't have a spectacular gpa so the category of universities i was looking to apply to was totally different. but I've always loved USC. And now, I can totally go for it, it's just the paranoia that kicks in that sucks >_<
