Spring 2011 Transfer - Junior Year

<p>I am currently a Junior at a college in a suburb of Philadelphia. I feel like I’m trapped in a dungeon and I really want to get out. I am seriously unhappy (I cried the second day I moved back in). I know I’m really late in the transfer game, but life’s too short to be unhappy. What are my chances of getting into BU? Here are my stats:</p>

<p>Math Major, Economics Minor, Computer Science Minor
GPA: 3.5</p>

<p>EC:
Investment Club
Career Networking Club
Collegiate Rowing
Asian Interest Club
Volunteered with Kids</p>

<p>Since I’m in my 3rd Year, I don’t really think my hs stuff matter but here it is anyways
HS GPA: 94
Rank 77/800
SAT: 1760
ACT: 27</p>

<p>What are my chances? Would I be required to stay a extra semester?</p>

<p>I am in the same boat as you. I want to transfer as a fall 2011 transfer. I wish someone who knows would answer your thread.</p>

<p>Do you guys know if it’s possible to transfer to BU after finishing only one semester of college? My sister is still a Freshman but she already knows she wants to go to a different school.</p>

<p>Just do it. You’re right, life is too short to be unhappy. So what if you possibly have to take an add’l semester. Good luck … your stats seem in the ball park.</p>
