Spring 2016 Transfer

I decided very late, less than a week ago, to officially transfer to Clemson. I’m thinking the long wait may hurt my chances with many transfers probably admitted already, and the fact that only a limited number of transfers are accepted (on a rolling basis), but please, chance me.

I am a college sophomore and have a GPA of 3.465 and my major is Chemical Engineering.
Pretty much all of my credits transfer if that matters.
I applied for general engineering and packaging science.

Will my GPA hurt me since it’s not above a 3.5?

Also does anyone know when the Spring 2016 application opened?

I don’t know when the application opened, but I could imagine sometime in September. I applied on September 29th and heard back on October 30. I don’t know much about their admissions process, but I got in with a lower gpa (2.8). I was studying engineering at my college and am switching to communications.
