Spring 2017: Transfer Application

I accepted from Hunter but I changed my mind because I cannot meet the requirements from Hunter nursing program. I am really frustrated. Does anyone knows that I can change school now or reapply for 2017 Fall after finishing spring semester?

@eleanors I know Brooklyn College allows a Change of College Choice: (I am not sure if other CUNY Colleges do that). I suggest calling the CUNY Welcome Center to find out what their procedure is on switching colleges.

I was accepted to another CUNY school but would like to attend Brooklyn College. How can I apply?
If you were accepted to another CUNY school but do not wish to attend, you can fill out a Change of College Form (pdf) with us. Once you complete the application, please return it to our Admissions Office to see if you are eligible to attend.

@queens12 Wow it really helps. It is hopeful there’s at least one college allows changing school. Thanks a lot!

@queens12 I called Lehman college and they said they allow to change school! So excited! Thanks!

@queens12 . Is that the hours for the Hunter admissions office?

yes, below is the link:

@queens12 . Thanks

I got rejected from BMCC and LGCC as an international transfer with 1.9 GPA (college drop out a year ago) . What can I do?

@mimirose426 You can go to another community college and take more courses with higher credits and then apply again after you get required minimum GPA. I was in ASA college and they accept any students.

@mimirose426 You can also file an readmission appeal at your previous college (you will need to explain why your GPA dropped and what plans do you have in the future to help make you a better future).

Option 2: You can take a few courses at other colleges to increase your overall GPA to a 2.0 or more.

SUNY Community Colleges admits anyone regardless of GPA (Open admissions policy). If commuting is difficult you can take classes online. You can even take online classes without being officially admitted to the college…

Fisher College located in MA: also offer online classes for students who are located far away. You can also take classes without being officially admitted. They admit anyone regardless of GPA.

Liberty University Online is also a good place to take a few college credits to build your GPA. They will usually accept anyone.

CUNY accepts all credits from the above colleges, expect remedial courses.

Enrolling at a SUNY Community College online class might be more affordable, if you are paying out of pocket.

did you end up getting in? I got the same thing but I haven’t been directly notified yet.
