@eleanors wow! good luck…
@Tai031198 I haven’t received an official email or letter in the mail but I have been told over the phone by an advisor that I’ve been admitted.
Just received an acceptance email from Queens College! :))
@arionna congrats! Where did you get in?
@queens12 Queens??? Congrats!!!
@Tai031198 Yep!
@Tai031198 Hunter
@arionna @queens12 I don’t think I’ll get my decision until November because I was educated abroad and I applied late.
@Tai031198 Hopefully you get an answer soon!
@arionna I am an International student at UCF (Orlando), I am from Kyiv, Ukraine, which is a big city. And I feel like I am degrading from life in Florida because nothing is going on + not a lot of outgoing people. So I am waiting for response from CUNY too!
@slavon oh I’m sorry to hear that you’ve had that experience here in Florida. Depending on what you’re going to school for, well honestly just in general, Orlando is a great place to be! But NYC is the best option for an energetic life, no doubt.
@arionna What college are you at? Florida is good if you are already settled in the US=) I am electrical engineering btw
@slavon I’m at USF
It’s Friday! I hope everyone can get good news today!
@alice525 Hopefully everyone gets an email soon!
Good luck everyone! I’m still waiting to hear back as well
Update: I just got off the phone with a CUNY admission counselor and he said my application is also in the final stages of review. I should hear back no later than the beginning of November. He didn’t say if it was good that they’re still reviewing it, just that it’s almost complete.
Does anyone know what is the average gpa to get in? I looked up some statistics and I found out that the transfer acceptance rate of the city college is around 35%, which is pretty low. There was no information about average gpa and act/sat scores for transfers. Did anyone do the research?
@slavon check this out:
Thanks!
