Spring 2019 Transfer

@kirby509 it seems possible. @poyoya thinks so.

Guys I just finished writing a 15-page essay on analyzing The Landmark Thucydides. Literally dead.

@HSCTiger2021 I’m a first-year ED applicant, and I was able to log into the to-do list too, so I wouldn’t read too much into it.

Pin trick finally works. Decision is viewable tomorrow at 10 am

@HSCTiger2021 it does say complete. I think it does for everyone. I really don’t think that is a good indicator.

Also, still not getting a decision date.

Also where is everyone seeing “initiated” and “transfer transcript”?

My financial aid has changed to “ordered”! Thanks guys. That means I have been accepted.

@HSCTiger2021 congrats! Where are you seeing that? In the financial aid to do list? Ours never has changed from the “no items to do”. Where do you see ordered?

@Cornellmom20 Yes, the financial aid to do list says “ordered” under status

@HSCTiger2021 nothing has ever shown up on our financial aid to do list. Well that prob means a rejection but weird that it’s never ever changed

Mine still say initiated. Seems like you’re in @HSCTiger2021 !!!

I did the forgot password trick and now it is saying my decision will be available at 10 tomorrow. Hoping for best

What does the financial aid to do list look like when it says initiated or ordered? Does it list everything? Ours literally never changed. Always has been blank.

@Cornellmom20 If yours always has been blank there is still a possibility of acceptance. “Ordered” means that there was a missing document that was previously “Initiated” but now, upon acceptance, is being “Ordered” by the Financial Aid office. This is what I have gathered from reading previous threads.

@Cornellmom20 It says initiated. Is it a bad sign?

@Scrpn04 I have no idea. I think all these theories get people worked up and anything can happen. The Pin trick didn’t work for us either. I think we just have to wait til the official decision.

@IvyBound511 thank you for your help!

Good luck to you @IvyBound511 especially! We have been on this road together for a while. Regarding the difference between “ordered” and “initiated”, @IvyBound511 is correct. When I called Financial aid a couple of weeks ago, I was told that your package changes to “ordered” after acceptance from your respective school.

@HSCTiger2021
Congratulations!! My decision page says 10 am although the todo list is neither initiated or ordered (which is reasonable since as an international student I didn’t apply for Financial Aid). I think I am gonna apply again next year haha.

By the way, does anyone know about the waitlist thing? I heard they do that for transferring students too? I am curious how that works.

I genuinely think transferring is gonna get harder and harder since Cornell is doing the “guaranteed transfer” thing…

Thank you @HSCTiger2021 . Congrats on the acceptance, you deserve it!! I will post the official result tomorrow at 10 am .
