spring class schedule

Weren't the spring course offerings supposed to become available yesterday? Let me know if I'm just missing something or going to the wrong place, but a dean and two teachers told us that it would be up yesterday (Friday).

Thanks!

I checked here. . . . [Rutgers University - Online Schedule of Classes](<a href=“Schedule of Classes - Rutgers University”>Schedule of Classes - Rutgers University)

. . . and all they have are class offerings up to Winter 2009/2010.

We are supposed to start signing up for Spring 2010 classes as of next month, so it should be available in the next 2 weeks or so.

that’s where I checked too :-/ oh well, I just kept hearing it would be this week. Hope it’s up soon.

In the STS class, they said we can start registering in November and they will help us in on of the classes.

Yea I have the sheet that has the dates, but I’m just interested in what classes are offered since some classes are only offered in the fall. I have limited options so I want to be prepared! haha

If everyone was like you, all the good classes will be gone lol how many credits did you transfer? I think the more you transferred, the earlier you can register.

^ correct. If you come in with credits, you have an advantage to register early. Freshmen get the bottom of the barrel in terms of classes since most of them are coming in with less than 20 credits so those coming in without credits are at 0 credit(s) at the time of registration. Your credits for first semester do not count since you have not completed the classes yet.

And if you look at this link . . .
[Students - Rutgers, Office Of The Registrar - New Brunswick](Students - Rutgers, Office Of The Registrar - New Brunswick) . . . it states when class schedules will be available – This Monday, on October 26th, thatsthekey!

I have a tip for you guys. If you look at the webreg page, they have boxes to the left side that allows to input the index number of your classes. I HIGHLY suggest that when you compile your list of classes that you write down the 5-digit index number.

It will be easier when you register instead of adding your class individually by each subject. All you will have to do is enter (or copy and paste) the index number for each class, click submit, and you will be registered in just one step.

MB, Thanks for the advice and tip!

I have 60 credits, so it does help haha. a lot of people in my sts got screwed with their credits and ended up dropping down to sophomores :-/

Thanks mushaboom! I guess the people I spoke to were misinformed then. Monday is perfect because I have an advising appointment Tuesday.
