Boxes of tissues, oh yea!! And don’t forget you can bring in hand sanitizer, pencils/pens, or paper for extra credit. my APES teacher gave us extra credit if we gave her paper towels. Everyone brought those thing in like no tomorrow. We had a wall of packs of toilet paper.

If you all are getting a pluses in ap classes, something must be wrong. I mean really? These grades are ridiculous. How do you get near perfect on eve single test, quiz, speech, and essay? Either you are studying like mad and prewriting in class essays at home, or you are getting tons of extra credit.

Because you’re totally in high school, right?

Nvm
Gym teacher changed my grade (:

A in gym FTW !

guys, if you do your work and study and understand the course for APs like chem, physics, and calculus, near perfect grades are not abnormal. These are regular college level courses for probably below-average colleges, it’s not that hard. also for me personally, i know my grade is one (of the only) A+s and the class average is probably around 70%…

i give high quality work and i expect a reflective grade.

also, it is high school…lol high school

^ Dude… nice!!!

It’s not that uncommon to see something like this. E.g. I know this one kid at my school who gets 99s on everything without trying.

As William Shakespeare wrote in Twelfth Night, “Be not afraid of greatness: some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them.”

@alwaysleah. Yeah I do have my 100% now. The way you stated it (and the way I said it) made me sound like I don’t do my Homework. Just so you know, during the last month we had a massive project that we were free to do at our own pace. Our grade was (temporarily) based on us checking in with progress, but as long as it was all done by the last day of school, it made no difference. I hope I’ve added some clarification to your patronizing remark :)

that’s ridiculous. 6 points for an A?

Pre Calculus- B (should have been an A but I BOMBED my final :()
GT Chemistry- A
SAT Prep- A
Honors SPanish 3- A
GT English- A
AP World History- A (just barely)
Culinary Arts- B (my teacher thinks giving A’s means “her class is too easy”)

I STILL don’t have my grades and I’ve been out of school for 3 weeks now.

Hj i think you meant trololol :]

He might be talking about IB, which is out of a 6-point scale? Pretty sure that’s the reason but not 100% sure…
