Spring Sem in HS college class?

<p>My HS was supposed to offer Intro Engineering class this spring as dual enrollment. This was to be my capstone class for Project Lead the Way. Well not enough enrollment to run the class, counselor wants me to take Intro to Business college class instead. Will major in ME, so don't really see the point.</p>

<p>Now I'm thinking to get early release to take something at community college instead. Frustrated bc took APCalc AB last year and got 4 on exam, so options for this year were AP Statistics(also new teacher) or take APCalc BC, I opted for CalcBC to be stronger for Calc in college, but teacher doesn't really know the material so well. I'm taking IB Physics HL and IB ChemSL now (hope to test out of CHEM 1310 on SATII). </p>

<p>Hope to study abroad at GaTech so want to save some electives for France.</p>

<p>Any suggestions on what I should take at CC? Don't care completely about transfer credit more about getting ready for Ga Tech classes.</p>

<p>If you can take a class that will transfer in as Physics 2211 (Calculus based Physics I) or Math 1502 (Calculus II with Linear Algebra), you should do that (if you think you’ll get AP or IB credit for Physics I, shoot for Calc II). Getting through those classes at a CC will help your GPA at GT and will allow you to get to major classes faster.</p>

<p>Class to take outside of Tech (notorious GPA killers): Calc II (Math 1502), Physics I (Phys 2211), and Physics II (Phys 2212). CS I (CS 1371) used to be a GPA killer but it’s better now that they have CS for Engineering Majors.</p>
