I looked over the supply list and it was neither listed as something you could take or something that is prohibited. If my daughter can take her bike, she will. What's the word on this, anyone?

Good question - I'd like to hear thoughts on this from current students.

That is one thing that was cool about Deerfield - those green bikes lying around everywhere!

I don't know about SPS, but I doubt bikes are prohibited at any school.. esp. for boarding students; it's our sole mode of transportation. I'm sure there are plenty of kids with bikes.

If I remember correctly, SPS was a pretty compact campus. However, if she wants to bike into town or anything like that it might be a good idea. I don't remember if I saw a lot of bike racks on my visits there. I'm taking my bike to Exeter, though.

Woot woot, i'm taking my bike too. I have the coolest bike in the world.. theres no way it's going to sit in my garage and rust while i'm 2000 miles away.

yea bikes are allowed. im going to sps next year and i know alot of kids who bring bikes haha

Yes, they are permitted. (I love the Deerfield bikes though, more schools should do that.) You might want to talk with your daughter about where and when she is riding and by herself or with others.
