Squirrel stuck! what to do

For several hours I’ve been observing this squirrel running around on a fire escape at 4th floor in the building next to my dorm. I don’t think there is any way out besides jumping on a not so nearby tree.
I will further investigate to find out if it is really stuck or just prefers to stay there for some reason. As far as I can tell from this distance, there seems to be a bird-feeding contraption on the fire escape, which the squirrel might have vandalized to get the food. The more I study its behavior the more likely it seems. However let us not yet jump to any such hasty and demeaning accusations.
So, if it is indeed stuck, what do you suggest be done?

call the fire department lol... i would also try to find a local wildlife rescue group and call them

pics or it didn't happen :P

Haha, the fire department? I know they save cats, but....

best yet......

best thread ever.

the squirrel isn't even brown.

haha idk maybe a combination of the fire department and a wildlife rescue group could do something... who knows?! maybe if i miraculously get into brown tomorrow, i'll go up there and run around the campus singing with joy and then somehow rescue the squirrel. idk... we'll have to see =]

they are grey here fyi

here, too.

The squirrel looks more like a teddy bear.

enough with the racism. brown squirl grey squirl does it matter?
